Kyosho Inferno MP9 TKI2 WC Edition Logo

The Kyosho Inferno MP9 TKI2 WC Limited Edition:

Now you can own and race the same 1:8th scale buggy that took Team  Kyosho International  (TKI) driver Cody King to victory at the 2010 World Championship race in Thailand. The new “WC” edition Inferno MP9 includes all the upgrades made to the MP9 for the Worlds race.

The track in Pattaya Thailand was an incredibly hostile and tough with concrete takeoff and landing areas on jumps as well as gangly welded iron fences lining the track. At the Worlds warm up race it took its toll on most the buggies that competed. Changes had to made to most manufactures cars deal with the exceptionally difficult conditions just to be sure that the buggies could finish an hour long main.  Even though the Kyosho Inferno MP9 TKI2 buggies had no major failures at the warm up race, they decided to update some parts and give them out to all the team drivers for the World Race just to be sure. The inferno MP9 WC Edition includes these strengthened and revised parts for you to add to your ability to win. Check the list below listing the new parts and changes that have been made.

Cody and Paul King (Cody’s Dad and master mechanic) along with the Inferno MP9’s designer Yuuichi Kanai found that it also helped to move the receiver battery from the stock location on the Inferno MP9 TKI2 to a forward position and made modifications to accommodate this change. This was adopted by Cody King and most the Kyosho team drivers as well in Thailand due to the improved handling with the change in weight balance. The Inferno MP9 WC Edition kit also includes the new parts needed to replicate this setup change.

Along with all the other improvements recently made to the TKI2 edition Inferno MP9, this is the most advanced 1:8th scale buggy ever produced! Kyosho and Yuuichi Kanai’s Infernos have won the 1:8th scale off road buggy Worlds 8 times, many more times than any other manufacturer.

Kyosho’s commitment to the serious RC racer with a no cost, no holds barred attitude, have always paid off! Using the best materials available in the world along with incredible engineering and fit and finish, you will not find a more committed group of people behind you as an owner of an Inferno than the group from Kyosho! The Inferno MP9 THI2 WC is made entirely in Japan.

Also, don’t forget that the Inferno MP9 TKI2 also won the 2010 ROAR Nationals driven by Kyosho Team driver Jared Tebo as well as TQ’d the Worlds in Thailand also driven by Jared Tebo!
