The most dominant IFMAR electric off-road racing machine charges into the new season with key running changes!
26 years after the Ultima’s first race victory, Team Kyosho International’s Jared Tebo (America) drove the Ultima RB6 to dominate the IFMAR Electric Off Road Car World Championship held in California in September 2013 with a TQ and the championship victory. The world’s most formidable racing machine has now been updated to deliver superior performance on high-grip running surfaces. In addition to the key advantages of the previous model (No.30068) such as high-rigidity 7075-T6 duralumin main chassis, adjustable battery mounting position for changes to weight distribution, choice of midship or rear motor mounting systems, Big Bore oil shocks for superior damping, the new model features the selection of rear wings, 3 hole rear suspension arms & gold rear shock springs to suit the midship motor setup. These changes realize improved durability and broader setting options and stability on high grip surfaces including artificial grass, carpet and hard-packed dirt. The new RB6 is fully loaded and designed for racers ready to challenge serious competition or upgrade for the next big racing event.

Improvements and Features:
  • Designed with the latest race-winning specifications including high-rigidity duralumin main chassis, large capacity big bore shocks for superior dampening, and choice of two motor layouts.
  • Straight, separate or short battery types can be installed. Also, short battery type allows mounting position and weight distribution to be selected to suit different surfaces and layouts.
  • 7075-T6 duralumin + hard anodized main chassis realize high-rigidity. Side plates that produce pitching rigidity also contribute to improved durability.
  • Increased mounting holes for rear suspension arm (UM713B) provides wider setting options for the midship motor configuration. Updated rear shock springs to gold (XGS013) to achieve more rear grip.
  • Crash resistance improved with installation of one-piece steel drive hub, hard type ballends and chromoly adjustable tie rods. Also, caster angle can be changed by replacing bushes on front hub carrier.
  • Steering crank system produces excellent off-road turning performance from optimal akermann ratio setting in addition to linear control feel.

  • Based on the 2012 Ultima RB6 (No.30068), this model has been specifically modified for midship motor configuration.
  • Design allows both midship and rear mounting of the motor.
  • Features tungsten diff balls.
  • Uses one-piece steel front wheel shafts.
  • Battery mounting position can be transferred between front and rear when using separate or short type Li-Po batteries.
  • Transmission incorporates reinforced idler gear to increase strength and performance.
  • Clamp screw aluminum hex wheel hubs provide secure mounting and precise rotation on the rear.
  • New larger capacity slipper clutch is compatible with high power motors.
  • Gun metallic anodized aluminum parts produce a formidable finish.
  • Includes X-GEAR ball diff grease and high graphite grease.
